We had a lovely long weekend at the Corn Mill. It was very welcoming with everything that we needed. Spotlessly clean with a cosy atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent a month at the Corn Mill, and would highly recommend it. From the first day, it was like home from home, warm, cosy and comfortable, with everything you need at hand. Carol and Keith were great hosts, around if you need them, and a mind of information on local points of interest and the Lake District in general, also Paul who always had time for you, and passed on some great tips. We would like to thank them all for a great stay, and look forward to returning in the future.

Had a wonderful weekend at The Cornmill. The owners are very friendly, the accommodation is brilliant. Some of the old mill workings have been cleverly included in the accommodation. Spotlessly clean, all necessary equipment and close to great pubs - The Royal Yew is amazing, meals are of a very high standard and the added benefit to us is that it is dog friendly as is the Cornmill. A beautiful but quiet weekend. Had a drive out to Keswick and Cockermouth. Will be going again in the New Year.

This is a delightful holiday cottage and we were made very welcome. The only slight hiccup was finding it as the description on the website didn't make it clear it was at Branthwaite Mill. I put 8 for amenities since there is no shop (which we knew), but there is a lovely pub and lots of peace and quiet! We went with our dog, who was also made welcome. We had a bit of a problem with the stairs, but again this often happens with her and we were prepared. We would certainly like to go there again. Check out what you see when you enter.
