The cottage is situated in a fantastic position for the harbour, village and tourist attractions. The beach's are beautiful and only a 5 min walk away. The cottage itself could do with a deep clean. All the touch surfaces were clean but some areas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in while. The pub across the road is very rowdy Fri, Sat and Sun nights up until about midnight but then come leaving time the revellers are very noisy. Not ideal for a peaceful night's sleep, especially if you have children. Not having a garden, whilst in the description, isn't ideal but a compromise for the location. I wouldn't rebook this cottage due to the above but Seahouse is a beautiful little village with lots to do and great for children that like to explore. I will definitely revisit the village.

A lovely little cottage, which came well equipped, brilliant location. Warm and cosy, even without the log fire. Although was dusty under the bed and around the bed frame, dishwasher handle to open broken, along with the towel rail on back of door in bathroom - all easy to fix and did not deter from holiday. In other reviews mentions problems / potential problem with parking. During our visit this was not the case, but certainly can see that this could be in high season - maybe have allocated parking slot placed like the other cottages for hire in the local immediate area to help?

Parking was the biggest issue and cleaning was poor The open plan kitchen and lounge were great but the bedrooms and bathroom were tiny and the bathroom especially the shower needed an upgrade Overall I would recommend it as we got it at a good price but I wouldn't consider it for the price quoted later in the year which was 3 times the price we paid
