A superb coach house conversion on a lovely estate with beautiful woodland walks. Ideally located for Edinburgh a 30 minutes drive and many Outlander locations nearby. The owners live nearby and were very pleasant and helpful. We will be booking again.

This is a lovely cottage if you haven’t got mobility problems. You are warned about steps to the bathroom but not about all the others. You can’t go from one room to another without a steep step - or 3. We wouldn’t have booked the cottage if we had known. That said, the cottage is extremely well equipped, very clean with comfortable beds and lots of good towels, hot water and more than everything you need. The host was very helpful but not intrusive. It is easy to travel into Edinburgh. The only other downside is, like other reviewers have said, the settees are uncomfortable and not relaxing.
