This charming cottage is set on a working farm in a countryside location in Lower Wensleydale, on the edge of an ’Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ - a walker’s paradise with pretty riverside walks on the doorstep. Masham (one and a half miles) boasts high quality craft shops, tea-rooms, an award winning restaurant, country inns serving local fayre, two breweries both with Visitor Centres, and a superb golf course. Middleham, famous for its racehorses and medieval castle, is a few minutes drive, with numerous abbeys and castles in the area. Harrogate and Ripon are nearby, whilst York and The North York Moors are within easy driving distance.
