Property was not clean and I needed to clean fridge, work surfaces etc before using. Cobwebs in every room, dirty comb on lounge mantelpiece meaning lounge had not been cleaned before our arrival. Only recycling bin provided no dustbin. No outside lights making entry at night very difficult. Property description stated pub opposite. This was a major reason we chose the property thinking we would eat there instead of cooking at night. However the pub closed last October and the agents reckon they didn’t know that. Eating out with for a party of 9 aged between 2 and 70 meant 3 children’s car seats which in turn meant using 3 cars, not what we had planned for. Disappointing holiday.

Amazing accommodation, clean and tidy. The owners have thought of everything. Love that there is a washer, tumble dryer and a clothes line. We made use of the board games - )playroom is an added bonus for those families with younger kids). Showers are powerful and the bath is a lovely size. Lovely garden and loved having the pub just across the road. Would definitely stay there again. The pictures do not do the place justice.
