This detached cottage retains its original charm with beamed ceilings and stone walls and has a feature inglenook fireplace with an original range in one of the two cosy living rooms. The other sitting room has an electric fire in the stone fireplace, and flatscreen TV with DVD player. The fitted galley kitchen includes a washing machine and small freezer; an archway leads through to the dining room. On the ground floor is a beautiful shower room, perfect for holiday pampering or a hot shower after a day in the surf. Upstairs are two good-sized bedrooms - a twin room and one with a double and a single bed. The cottage is set in lawned gardens with patio furniture, and views across the fields to the sea from St David’s to Strumble Head. Porthgain is a small, picturesque harbour with a lovely bistro/bar, as well as a character pub serving excellent bar food and two art galleries showing the work of local artists. Neighbouring Abereiddy, has a black sandy beach where dogs are welcome all year round and the remarkable Blue Lagoon. An excellent location for the wonderful attractions of the Pembrokeshire coast. Porthgain harbour also hosts a couple of delightful restaurants to really soak in the area, most definitely worth a visit, just a 15 minute walk away!
