This first floor apartment can be found on a leafy country lane in the Cheshire village of Betley, just outside the medieval market town of Nantwich. Set next to the friendly owners’ home, the property is wonderfully cosy and benefits from private parking and its own private outside space. Nantwich itself can be reached in around 15 minutes and is a pretty town bursting with cafés and red brick townhouses. Situated on the banks of the River Weaver it is famous for medieval timbered buildings, but also has a modern edge and uniquely an outdoor salt water pool open between May and September.
Nearby attractions include Bridgemere Garden World, 15 minutes, the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker, 20 minutes or Stoke-on-Trent with the famous potteries and Emma Bridgewater Factory, 20 minutes. Keele University and Hall is just a short bus ride away, ideal for visiting family studying here. The castles of Peckferton and Cholmondeley are around 40 minutes away as is Hawkstone Follies Park. Alton Towers can be reached in around 50 minutes, and Chester in around an hour. A perfect touring base, the location is close to the borders of Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire with North Wales also easily accessible. Ample walking and cycling is available in the area. Shop and pub ½ mile, gastro pub 1¼ miles.
