Would be good if the fan heater in the bathroom worked for more than a few seconds. Hooks to hang up anoraks etc in living area please Outside rubbish bins kept blowing away in bad weather Otherwise very good.

It was a lovely place to chillax away from the hustle and bustle of 'normal' every day life and what a view! To look at that view everyday despite the contrary weather conditions was just magical! We had a few problems that were dealt with by Anthony and then Nick as quickly as they could but this did not spoil our time there. For me, the shower was not clean enough and I had to scrub it to remove the black soap scum, particularly around the door. I also found a stray sock under the rug. The twin bedroom would have been lovely for children but not really suitable for an older lady like me!! I dragged the bed out to make it and there were wood lice under it! Yeuk!! The double bedroom was lovely. There was a little lack of storage for clothing - no drawers only shelves and the wardrobes. All the equipment was in place for us to use and we only had to buy loo roll and the normal stuff like that. Again, because I'm not a youngster, I struggled a bit with the steps in and out. The dog had a ball and to be right on the beach was fab! Thank you for letting us use the Beach House; for a younger family I reckon it's just about perfect!! Maybe next time we'll try the house next door!

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments. We are so pleased that you enjoyed being at The Beach House so much and found it magical. We are sorry that you had some issues with the cleanliness of the property; especially as we spoke to you on the phone during your stay and that at that time, you said that everything was ok and that you were happy with the property. We do wish you had mentioned this at the time so that we could have asked the cleaners to return to address your concerns. There is a double bed with king size duvet in the main bedroom and, as specified in the property details, two 2'6" single beds in the spare room. We would certainly not wish you to be dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay and have taken the matter up with the cleaners so that you should have no concerns on any future visit. We are delighted that nevertheless you enjoyed your time in The Beach House very much and had a great holiday.

Superb little hideaway which the online pictures do not do credit to, in a very quiet and unspoilt corner of Anglesey. Property is very comfortable, spacious and good views across the Menai Straits. Open plan living space - lounge, diner, kitchen looking out across the Straits means you get a real feel for the sea & mountains right outside the door. Would benefit from a dishwasher, as holidays are not for washing up! and a fridge thermometer. Love the décor, very reassuring to arrive at a holiday home and see that so much care has been taken in choosing furnishings.
