Set in a convenient location, it is within walking distance of the locally run pub, and a short drive away from the visitor attractions of Ludlow with its castle and racecourse, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock. Also worth visiting are the River Severn, famous for its tidal bore, the River Teme and the Severn Valley Railway. Other local attractions include Rays Farm, the inland funicular railway and Daniels Mill. This is an ideal touring base for people wishing to explore Shropshire and Herefordshire, as well as the mid Wales borderlands. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

The cottage is clean and spacious. Vicky and Nigel were very helpful and welcome gifts were great. The hot tub was a excellent way of relaxing and unwinding after a day of sight seeing with a glass of wine or beer. Very pet friendly with walks around area. Local pub the pheasant a short walk away offered a range of food and drink.

Really enjoyed our time at the barn, very relaxing having the use of the hot tub and sitting out in the garden having a barbie, the owners are lovely and very welcoming and there is so much to see and do around shropshire and to visit, highly recommend.

The barn was a nice property but a week was possibly too long the sofa's were not comfortable although the rest of the property was ok. The hot tub and wood burner were a nice touch though. It might be useful for the owners to spend a few days in the holiday let and find out what is in need of care or upgrade. The owners were very pleasant and the welcome gift and eggs were lovely

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for the feedback, we take any constructive comments left on board and use it to make improvements for our guests. I’m disappointed that you felt the settee’s were not comfortable as they are a recent purchase due to the dated interior when we purchased the property. We have made a lot of upgrades based on previous feedback. It’s a shame you didn’t let us know at the time any issues you had as your comments left in our visitors book were about how lovely the cottage was. We try to maintain a high standard as previous comments would justify. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our guests which also include a recent hot tub upgrade too.

What a fabulous find - photo’s on the website don’t do it justice. Lovely location enabling you to go exploring. Clean and comfortable cottage too. Really lovely hosts and a nice welcome pack. Hot tub was huge, hot and clean and the wood burner was most welcome in the evenings. Lovely quality local pub, with a great menu was well worth the money. My sister is disabled and with a few minor adjustments, the cottage was perfect. Our hosts were very helpful. We definitely plan to return.

Home from home. Great friendly welcome from our host who bizarrely has roots in our home town 4hrs away. Hot tub was a great bonus as was the bacon and wine?. Dog friendly place, would say the Hoover needs a bit of an upgrade to leave the place tidy but overall, would very much recommend

We had a lovely couple of days as our first trip away with our newborn. Cottage had everything we needed. Great location-really quiet but not too far to drive to bridgnorth and Ludlow for restaurants, shops etc.
