The New Forest is a beautiful part of the world to visit and The Barn is a lovely place to stay whilst there. Everything in The Barn is of the highest quality and it is well equipped with all that you need for a very comfortable stay. The owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay which is just a little bit different, try here. Highly recommended.

Good Location in the Heart of the New Forest Easy Parking & a nice garden with outdoor furniture & a quality BBQ Not used by us) Accommodation was good with fully equipped kitchen Small Negatives which are constructive criticism The narrow spiral staircase to the loft bedroom was a bit awkward to use. We knew about the spiral staircase when we booked but only used it at bedtime & down again in the morning Wardrobe & bathroom on ground floor There is only I double power point in the kitchen, to use kettle/micro/toaster/etc. Also no power point for a hairdryer near a mirror. We bought a small stand up mirror from Sainsbury's to use in the kitchen Flat screen TV working but remote packed in - Time for a new one ! as they are "cheap as chips" now Overall enjoyed the stay in the New Forest & the weather was very kind

Response on behalf of the Owner; Dear Phil, thank you for your comments. Glad you had a lovely stay. We only wish you had spoken to us during your stay as apart from the spiral staircase issue we could have resolved all your other concerns. There is a plug socket a double one intact by the information basket which is next to the very large mirror on the ground floor. We always keep spare batteries so could easily have supplied new ones for the remote control. We could have supplied an additional plug socket if you required the kettle, toaster and microwave all to be on at the same time. We are very accommodating hosts who only want the best for their guests but unless we know there are issues we cannot address them. We always go the extra mile which I am sure you appreciated with the welcome pack we left you. Kindest regards.

A beautiful quirky cottage-very comfortable, immaculately clean and well-ordered with everything you need to enjoy a home from home holiday. Pretty garden with comfortable patio furniture. An ideal base to explore the attractions in the area and the New Forest National Park. Lovely warm welcome from the owner and a generous and delicious welcome pack. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

As soon as my husband and I opened the door we were wowed with this beautiful barn. It had everything you could want for a lovely relaxing stay. Very clean and set in a quiet location, ideally located for lots of places to visit. The village itself had lovely tea rooms and a couple of good pubs serving good food. A lovely welcome pack of goodies was left in the barn ,which was much appreciated and enjoyed ,also met the owner who was exceptionally nice. We cannot wait to return.

We had a fantastic stay in such a lovely barn which was well situated to get around the New Forest. The barn itself was brilliant with everything catered for you could ever need and to such a high standard! Rachel couldn’t of been nicer or more helpful with all our needs. I would highly recommend staying here and can guarantee you won’t be disappointed This was the first time for my wife and myself to take away our 5 week old baby on his first holiday and we had such a great time we can’t wait to go back again for a few days.

The barn was everything I hoped for. Rachel was so accomodating and was very kind and considerate and went the extra mile to surprise me with a birthday card, flowers and wine on arrival. I couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Such a lovely place.
