Situated in over an acre of gardens, this barn conversion is ideal for couples exploring the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia.

With its oak pegged beams, underfloor heating and Aga wood burner, this detached holiday barn conversion at Llanerch y Felin, adjacent to the owner’s home, provides a cosy retreat for any couple wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia. Situated in over an acre of gardens and surrounded by fields, The Barn is a perfect starting point for hillwalking in the Carneddau Mountains. There is a private courtyard garden with a chiminea for barbecues and guests are also welcome to wander and enjoy the rest of the garden. Rowen is only 5 miles from the medieval walled town of Conwy, which has excellent road and rail links with the rest of the UK. It is 10 miles from the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno. Attractions close by include the National Trust owned Bodnant Gardens and Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, with its fine dining restaurant, tea rooms, wine shop, cookery school, farm shop and bee keeping centre. Further down the Conwy Valley, the towns of Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed are well worth a visit, and from Blaenau Ffestiniog, a narrow gauge railway winds its way through spectacular scenery to the famous Italianate village of Portmeirion, and then onwards to Caernarfon, with its medieval castle and views of Anglesey and the Menai Strait. Visit Surf Snowdonia in the Conwy Valley, the UK’s first artificial surfing lake. Beach 6 miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

A lovely barn conversion in a very peaceful spot. The property is well converted and presented with friendly and pleasant hosts ( Jane & Frank). A good base for visiting the main places of interest in the area, which are all easily accessed from Rowen.
