Escape to The Old Bakehouse — a charming Grade II listed one-bedroom stone retreat in the heart of Bossiney, where coastal beauty, history, and romance meet on Cornwall’s stunning shores.
Electricity, bed linen and towels included. No smoking. Please note: This property has a £150 security deposit.
Welcome to The Old Bakehouse a fabulous one-bedroomed grade II listed historic stone cottage in the lovely coastal village of Bossiney.
Situated close to the famous town of Tintagel, a well-known place of myths and legends, The Old Bakehouse is truly stunning and unique. Renovated for couples looking for a romantic break or a base to explore the county of Cornwall, it’s a real delight inside and out.
Deceptively spacious and well-appointed for a self-catering stay, enter the living area with full kitchen, dining area, electric fire, TV and Wi-Fi included during your stay. Head through into the king-size bedroom, with an adjoined bathroom with shower, basin and WC.
Outside there are lovely places to sit and enjoy, with two decked areas both at the front and rear of the property. There are sea and costal views from the rear decked area and a private parking space equipped with an EV charger.
Less than a mile away is the centre of the charming seaside village of Tintagel, hosting an array of eateries where you can sample some traditional Cornish delicacies, or cream teas - remember jam first always in Cornwall!
Tintagel is famous for its connections to the legendary King Arthur with Tintagel Castle resting atop a cliff and boasting dramatic seaside views. Resting below the castle ruins is also Merlin’s Cave, another historic attraction well-worth the visit. Further afield is the popular award-winning town of Bude with its beaches and ample opportunities for water sports. An excellent base to explore ‘Kernow’, with some of the country’s most beautiful coastlines and beaches on your doorstep!
Please note: £50 of electricity is provided by the owner at the beginning of every booking and any usage above this amount will need to be topped up by guests via the £1 & £2 coin operated electricity top-up meter.
