A small but nice and very clean granny flat built onto the owner's cottage. On the south side there is a sunny, narrow patio, divided from owner's patio by a wooden fence, offering a view of fields and the church tower. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is reasonably equipped: an electric oven plus hob (turn heat down to zero, as soon as things boil), and a small microwave that works well. The sitting room offers space enough for two people. There is a small tv, but if you are a reader, bring your own reading lamp. The armchairs are comfortable, the settee less so. The latter doubles as a third bed, but, if needed, you'd better bring an inflatable to put on top. The tiny village is quite picturesque, boasts one garage cum fuel pump (cheapest in UK), but shops are not far away in Ilminster and Langport. Several nice pubs in the vicinity offer good meals. We can recommend The Lion and Lamb at Hambridge and The George at Donyatt, Ilminster. The owners are a nice and helpful couple, always available. We spent a very pleasant fortnight in Russet's East Wing.

A lovely, homely place to stay. A real home from home, and the hosts are so welcoming that you feel you are family. A total pleasure to stay here.
