Sunningdale House is perfectly located in the centre of the market town of Grantham. Set over two floors, you enter the property into the delightful living room which offers comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with a gas fire, giving you a perfect area to relax in. On the same floor, you have a well-equipped kitchen/dining room should you not wish to dine out in the many restaurants and pubs close by, this a great space for socialising in. On the first floor you have three good-sized bedrooms with various layouts meaning the property is ideal for families, friends and couples. All the beds offer fresh linen guaranteeing a great night’s sleep ensuring you are ready for the day ahead. Also, on the first floor, there is the lovely family bathroom with shower over the bath. To the rear of the property, you have the enclosed garden with plenty of seating, this is the ideal setting to have a glass of fizz al fresco style in the warm summer months or simply take in the morning air with a coffee. Modern furnishings and stylish decoration you will find a cosy and peaceful retreat to come back to after a day’s adventures.
Location is key, easily accessible just off the A1, central location and excellent transport links to Peterborough, Leicester, and Nottingham, meaning that Sunningdale House really does have it all. A short drive away, you will discover Stamford, the place Sir Walter Scott described as ‘the finest stone town’ in England. Its cobbled courtyards and alleys give way to unique boutiques and sweet cafés, making it perfect for a weekend escape. Stamford’s position on the Great North Road meant it was a major trading post with wool a speciality, and many majestic old stone buildings remain. It is a big town, fully able to cater for every need with galleries, pubs, museums and more, and its old charm made it a prime TV spot; Pride and Prejudice and Middlemarch were filmed here.
The major hubs of Northampton and Cambridge are nearby, as is the market town of Melton Mowbray, a portal for gourmet travellers; several food festivals happen here, from chocolate to cheese. Off to the coast, Skegness is a classic donkeys-and-ice-cream resort, perfect for long days out on the sands or poking around the arcades. Further up, Mablethorpe’s Blue Flag beach, seal sanctuary and aqua park will keep the family occupied until it is time to return to Sunningdale House, you really are spoilt for choice.
