Commanding a premier position along the North Norfolk Coast overlooking the sea, this traditional Victorian building is just a short walk from the sandy beach and perfectly positioned in the popular seaside resort of Cromer. The apartments (refs 26082, 26084 and 26086) provide a home from home at any time of year. Set over three floors, sharing communal entrance and stairway, each apartment boasts traditional features including high ceilings and large rooms. The whole building is protected by a linked fire alarm system and there is a private car park at the rear of the building with one parking space for each apartment. All apartments have excellent sea views from the living room. The Mayflower, Bounty and Sky Lark apartments have the added benefit of the octagonal bay window offering panoramic views of the sea, sandy beach and pier, and a wonderful sea view from the kitchen and family bedroom. Families will delight at the excellent wide sandy beach, perfect for simply relaxing and watching the children play. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade with sunken garden and pier, with its working RNLI lifeboat station and museum, and end of pier theatre with year round entertainment. Excellent walking along the cliff top trail and 18-hole cliff top golf course and the club house nearby. Just 250 yards from the town centre with its wealth of shops. There are plenty of restaurants and inns to choose from. Sample the fresh seafood and shellfish, catch of the day may be purchased direct from the returning fishing boats or simply enjoy a choice of take out meals from the many restaurants. Events include the Folk Festival in May, Carnival Week (held during the third week in August), and fireworks over the water on New Year’s Day (weather permitting). The railway station is just a short walk away with connections to Norwich, the Broads and Sheringham. Catch a bus or drive to the Georgian town of Holt, 15 minutes away. The fine city of Norwich with its excellent shopping malls, theatre, cinema complexes, cathedral, castle museum, plenty of inns and restaurants is only 20 miles away. A great base for a holiday in Cromer.Fantastic location, close to all amenities. A good sized property, with everything one needs to enjoy a stay away from home. The flat smelt quite damp and was noticeable on our clothes when we returned home.Whilst there, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is a very decent chap.My reason for scoring rights are because, the flat is very dated, the overall cleanliness was good, but we noticed our feet were dirty walking around( minus socks/footwear) which tells me the carpets are due a shampoo. Would I stay again? No, because I don't visit anywhere more than once. Cromer is a lovely family place to visit, with lots to keep children entertained.

We had a great week. The location is excellent being 3 minutes from the town and 5 from a supermarket. It was clean and well furnished.however it did need a washing machine and could do with modernising the decor. We would definitely stay again when in Cromer.
