We had another lovely holiday at Stybarrow, we have been for the past 8 years every January and love the location for walking etc. We have always found Stybarrow warm and cosy, especially after a long day in the fells, plenty of hot water and drying facilities, always feels like coming home. Will be back next year.

Nice little cottage, very clean and fine size for our family of four. Nice and warm. We know the area well and parking can be a bit of a pain when it’s busy as on road, but we managed ok. Would definitely return.

Really lovely cosy cottage. Everything you will need on a self catering holiday. Lots of kitchen equipment and the beds are comfy. The only suggestion I would make is to take some provisions if you are going to cook as there is only a mini shop so not too much to chose from. The pub in the village does nice food and the lake is just a stroll away.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thanks for your kind review. I’m glad you had everything you needed especially comfy beds - very important I agree. Just to reassure future guests, I would say that there are two shops in the village where you can get most things and a number of good places to eat, pub, cafes, restaurants but it’s an idea to take some things too.
