perfect getaway for a couple of days only issue was internet which does not work - not a problem and reported to family member as other guests may not be so accommodating

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We do not seem to have had any problems with the internet connection before or since so not sure what went wrong here. The cottage has its own Wi-Fi connection and through BT. Apologies that this was a problem on this visit.

Had a great time at Stocks Tree cottage. It had everything that we needed for a great holiday with no complaints at all. Very beautiful inside and out. We had a power cut one day and the owners were completely wonderful and even cooked our quiche for our tea ha ha!! They were great. It was very central to everywhere that we wanted to go - Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Wales. Would definitely recommend Stocks Cottage to anyone.

We were unable to book anywhere closer to Malvern ( our preferred destination), but this cottage was not too far away. We were only there for a couple of nights and had events in Malvern already planned so can't comment on local amenities, but the cottage itself was in a lovely quiet spot, and was a beautiful little place. The kitchen in particular was very well-equipped with good standard kitchen knives etc- something holiday property owners often skimp on but which, if you are self-catering, can make a big difference to the overall experience. we had brief contact with the owners who were very friendly and left some local cider and crips as a welcome gift! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others- especially in May when the blossom everywhere looks stupendous!

A lovely comfortable cottage with everything you would need for a restful break and to explore the local area. We stayed in March and the weather wasn't very kind but I would imagine the gardens are lovely on a warm summer's day. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

This is a lovely cottage, well equipped for self catering and very cosy. The owners were very friendly, helpful and responsive. We stayed as a couple, although there would be plenty of room for a family, as there was also a twin and one single bed. I have given this a lower rating for local amenities, as there is very little in the area apart from farmland and you would definitely need a car to get around. If you’re after a peaceful stay near Hereford, we would definitely recommend this.

Lovely cottage in a quite location. Our stay was particularly wintery as it snowed in March. Due to this, we were a tad chilly. If we hadnt had another visit from the beast, it would have been warm enough. Late stay on the Monday particulary welcome and Patsy very welcoming. Would definately return.
