Great cottage and in great proximity to Skipton and The Dales. Very welcoming host and on hand for any issues. Despite the poor weather we still managed several local walks, with use of the hot tub after to relax and recuperate. Cottage is of a high standard and great to relax in after a days walking. Would highly recommend.

Very nice place cooker a little hard to navigate, not a great selection of cooking pots but overall a very good property.

Was really looking forward to coming here but extremely disappointed on arrival. The cottage was full of cobwebs (we have pictures) and they were not new cobwebs. There were no logs for the log burner and this has not been cleaned out so there was ash all inside the burner and the bucket provided to put the ash in was also full. One set of towels only so if you plan on using hot tub bring another towel. Dust everywhere....the top of the headboard on the bedroom was thick with dust (again we have pictures) In the cupboards were dirty plates and cups also. To try and cheer ourselves we went to the hot tub (after going outside with a torch provided that the batteries were running out) down some steps that were full of leaves. How we didnt slip and break our necks is beyond us. On getting in the hot tub it was so cold (bearing in mind we went in december) and as we looked up the owners house was practically over looking the hot tub....I think they were washing up and we could both see each other! This was not mentioned in the description. The hot tub also had a very low pressure of bubbles which the owner did call an engineer out who said nothing was wrong it ( all the hot tubs we have been in have lovely jets and bubbles. This one does not) On getting up every morning we didnt want to go in the hot tub as the back area was usually busy with the handyman and people coming and going so felt self conscious. We loved how cosy the cottage was and we loved the local farm shop. We did tell owner of the problems and we did get some logs but I felt like we were a burden to be honest and the cobwebs were never mentioned. I also see this was mentioned on here in August 2019! Overall....nicely decorated cottage just not cleaned well and far too over looked for us to use the hot tub. Such a shame. We will be back to skipton but not here I'm afraid.

Lovely cottage in a fabulous setting close enough to Skipton for convenience but remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet

A beautiful cottage set in a brilliant location. Spacious and well equipped and the added bonus of a Hot Tub was excellent. Cottage was ready when we arrived and Geri (the owner) had left a lovely cake as a welcome for us and was available to show us round. She was always friendly and available for local advice and was happy for us to have fresh eggs from her chickens at the top of the garden. The cottage was only a short walk to the local Farm Food market and into Skipton itself. It also had the benefit of only being a very short drive into the Yorkshire Dales themselves and there were numerous truly stunning locations and walks etc within 30 minutes driving. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Fantastic location sadly let down by poor attention to detail. Minor improvements would make a fantastic cottage. Poor access to outside area, previous customer comments not addressed as cobwebs still apparent. Only one set of towels provided customers should be advised to bring their own for hot tub use.
