Description

We love the quality finish of this modern property and its unique location on the platform of Silverdale station, a perfect location from which to explore the Lake District by train.

Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: With 55" Smart TV with Sky TV.
Kitchen:
With electric oven, induction hob, combi microwave/oven/grill, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and washer/dryer.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and Freeview TV with Sky TV.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. Small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.

You enter this unique and stylish, fully refurbished property and on your left is the well-equipped kitchen offering plenty of space to prepare a family meal after a long day walking, cycling or climbing in the Lakes. Moving through to the generous living/dining area, this is the ideal space to recant the day’s adventures whilst enjoying a meal or a glass of wine. The livingroom has 2 large three seater sofas and looks directly out onto the platform of Silverdale station, so you get to watch the periodic passing of trains. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes and a TV with Sky for those lazy Sunday mornings. The second bedroom offers two single twin beds and of course there’s the a family bathroom. Finally outside, there is a small courtyard area with seating where you can view the passing of the trains.
Silverdale is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast, offering the RSPB Leighton Moss Reserve and Gaits Barrow Nature Reserve on its doorstep. With walks from the doorstep and local cycle hire, you have no excuse not to get out and fill your lungs with fresh air and enjoy some stunning scenery of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Silverdale golf club is located less than 200 yards from the property and welcomes visiting golfers.
For those wanting more than just fresh air there are a variety of attractions within a 10-mile drive, such as Lakeland Segway’s, Leighton Hall, sky diving or for animal lovers, there are the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis or the Predator Experience. If you prefer the sand between your toes there are beaches with 1 mile, and Morecambe is less than 10 miles by train. In fact the access to the trains opens up the whole of the Lake District National Park, you can climb aboard and travel to places like Windermere and Ambleside, and enjoy some great shopping or the lovely pubs and restaurants without having to worry about the car. Whether it’s floating on a boat or dining in Michelin star restaurants, it is all within easy reach of this lovely property.
