My wife and I have just returned from a very enjoyable week at Stable Cottage. The cottage was clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, very comfortable and lacked for nothing. We slept well in the smaller of the two bedrooms, but if we were to return we would probably ask for the single beds in the larger bedroom to be converted into a king sized double. The owner said that this would not be a problem. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout and not at all intrusive, despite living next door. They even provided a tray of alcoholic beverages for consumption during our stay. A very nice touch indeed! The property is on a busy road and close to a busy railway level crossing, so when we were outside the cottage we were conscious of some noise, but we were not disturbed at all inside the cottage. The location is in a great location for visiting towns along the coast, Arundel and Chichester etc. There are also supermarkets nearby for supplies. We would certainly be happy to return.

Good location, super tidiness, very nicely furnished, feels like a real home. Our family had a great time! Francis and David very really nice, but also left us privacy. Would love to come back again.

A lovely cottage to stay in for both comfort and position. South Downs within easy reach and that of historic Chichester and Portsmouth. A five minute drive and you're in Arundel with its castle and historic town. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious and included everything you could want for a short stay. Being a up-side down house didn't bother us atall.
