Cottage was nice however we weren’t fans of the shared parking situation. Also the bedroom and kitchen smelled very fusty which was off-putting. Lack of proper shower was a shame and layout of the bathroom (minimal tiles and pictures above the bath) made washing without splashing everywhere a challenge. Loud music from the owner’s garden on the night of our arrival until past midnight was also disappointing. Northumberland was lovely and we really enjoyed the local beaches and attractions so we would definitely return to the area but probably not this cottage.

Beautiful cottage well suited for both the coast and the hills of Northumberland. Well equipped and very comfortable we enjoyed our stay at Stable Cottage and will book it again without a doubt.

This was a lovely cottage , clean well equipped and nicely decorated with good furniture , only one small suggestion think a new mattress on double bed is perhaps needed . The location was good for touring Northumberland .Belford has three pubs a co op , fish and chip shop and paper shop . There is a nice little Deli just up the road as well. Our two dogs were welcome . I would reccomend this cottage , we had a lovely week . Thank you

Cottage was fine , but having seen this part of Northumberland we would look to stay in another area. The only serious issue with the cottage would be to suggest a new mattress for the double bed !

Some of the furnishings are rather shabby, the sofa in particular was bordering on usable as there were springs missing and a hole underneath the cushions. The main bedroom had a musty smell. Some of the utensils in the kitchen needed replacing.
