Lovely cottage on the outskirts of Belford. Very quiet even though situated by the main road going through the village. It does have a garden but not enclosed as open to drive and then the road so dogs had to be supervised when they went out. Apart from that the cottage was clean and bright. Well supplied kitchen. There is a shower but attached to the bath so showering was interesting. Bamburgh about a 5 min drive. We walked from the cottage to St Cuthbert’s Cave about 2 hours. There are a couple of good pubs in the village 5 mins walk very dog friendly The village has a good fish and chip shop. Would highly recommend this cottage

Nice, cosy cottage in a pleasant location. The wi-fi was surprisingly good for a rural location. We were disappointed that there wasn't a shower. Also, I had to climb into the window bay to open and close the bedroom curtains as they were hard to reach. Parking was sometimes an issue due to the number of cars already in the parking area at times. We could have done with more up to date information regarding the opening times of the local chip shop and farm shop and serving of meals in the local pubs, as we frequently disappointed. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay.
