Excellent accommodation. Received a welcome pack of milk, bread, jam etc which was lovely. First accommodation we have stayed in to have a welcome pack. The owners couldn't do enough for you. They were able to help us with any questions we had of the area etc. Fantastic view from the cottage. Shed to store bikes. So much to do in the area, ideal spot to explore the surrounding area. R.S.P.B site on the doorstep and so many walks in the area.

While the owners were friendly and helpful in her welcome there were some important flaws. The bedroom arrangement didn't work. There aren't enough comfortable chairs. There isn't enough storage although it would be easy to put cupboards in the bathrooms. Two people can't work in the kitchen - is below standard width. The owners haven't tried living in it - if they had it would not take much to put some things right. The decoration and equipment are excellent and we enjoyed the wood fire.

A very nice cottage in top condition. The only minor issue we had was the small woodburning stove that is very difficult to control.

Quality equipment and very comfortable beds, very clean. If six adults are staying the only downside was the chair for the sixth person, it was not comfortable at all. It would have made so much sense to have two two seater sofas and a three seater sofa. Our party had six adults, so it would have made the stay much more comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at St. Ronan's Place even though for the most part the weather was poor. It is a lovely cottage with all the amenities you could wish for. We'd rent the cottage again and would thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here for a week with our 2 dogs. The cottage was beautiful and spotless with every facility required. It was quiet and very relaxing. It is perfect for a 'get away from it all' holiday. The owners were friendly and provided logs for the fire and a lovely welcome pack of goodies. I would recommend it to anyone. You do need a car.

We had a great holiday based at St Ronan's Place. It was a lovely, comfortable holiday home. Situated in peaceful surroundings with lovely views. We found it a very good location for us as we haven't spent a lot of time in the area. We enjoyed visits to The Kelpies, Balmaha, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. There are plenty of lovely places to eat or have a coffee. We recommend House Darroch, the Drymen Inn and the Coach House Luss.
