The chapel is beautifully converted and in an excellent location. Highlight of this property is the private access to the castle ruins. We loved spending time there. Oliver was an excellent host who responded promptly to all our queries. I'd give this property 10 out of 10 except it really needs some hardcore dusting. Although it was generally clean, there were lots of cobwebs throughout the property. But overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

St Mary's Chapel is quirky and we loved it, especially having our own keys to the castle! It is an old building so there are spiders and as it was hot weather we also had flies. We loved the outside eating area and also the excellent pub/restaurant in the village. The kitchen has a wonderful wooden dining table for eight and everything you might need including a large fridge/freezer. The local contact was very friendly, helpful and available. Visitors should be aware that sleeping for 2 of the 8 is in the kitchen so it may not suit all combinations of family. The shower was easy to operate and the water pressure excellent. All in all we had a great stay there and would recommend for family groups.

Historically great and location is perfect for guests who want peace and country walks. Hosts were very thoughtful to leave us some food and basics for our stay. However for us, it was a little too rustic, curtains in a couple of places missing so light came streaming in very early. Perhaps suitable for guests with dogs, as we found floors quite dirty and sofas left a lot to be desired. Paid for 3 nights but left after two.
