This is a cottage of two halves. Upstairs bedroom and bathroom were very nice but the downstairs sadly more charity shop than cottage very uncomfortable furniture and although we had a cup of tea on arrival and the kitchen had loads of dishes and pans the simple things like salt and pepper and a pint of milk where not provided not even 2 tea bags to start our stay. Our welcome pack was quite different ,with a bottle of water and mini cereal but NO milk and no shops. The central heating advertised is controlled by the adjoining property and that was one radiator in the lounge. When we asked the lady she said she was not cold. We also had to ask for fuel to start a fire . We do not carry logs with us. the heating in actual fact is portable oil radiators. One of your first questions is would you stay here again and very sadly No we booked for a week and came home on Tuesday loosing our money and our break. For future people their is an adjoining door through the property to next door and the holiday maker has no way of locking it. We were constantly disturbed by their dog barking and the door slamming. Yes we have a dog but she is trained not to bark. we like most holiday makers had travelled a distance so the last thing you want to do is get back in the car to find a shop for a pint of milk. However the garden is a credit to the cottage.
