Overall very well kept and clean - few minor issues - the TV had no volume at all so didn't bother to watch it, bathroom light was intermittent at times but otherwise it was great. Bed was very comfortable, the kitchen facilities were great and having a gas cooker was a big bonus. The wifi worked really well. It's very quiet here which was lovely, lots of birds including many swallows and the farm's cat popped in to visit us regularly! The owner was a nice chap and friendly. Overall a very nice place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely comfy beds. Fridge falls out when you open the door front door has to be forced open, faulty light in bathroom, was flickering on and off.

Isolated farm cottages, basic inside. Door sticks, failed double glazing units. Old furniture. Only 4 sets of cutlery and crockery, insufficient pans. Fridge incorrectly fitted, falls out. Tiny TV (not Smart), no HDMI. No dishwasher. Minimal headroom upstairs. Spiral staircase deathtrap. Super king bed mattress in master bedroom was 12 years old. My wife asked if they had a better more comfortable mattress after poor night's sleep and bad back on first night. Received a patronising reply from the owner about having luxury hotel quality mattress and that his wife was a qualified masseuse and could give a massage for £40. Bought 2 mattress toppers to last us the week. Only stayed six nights although paid for seven, check out really early, 9am.
