We loved staying at the barn, for us the location was ideal as we didn't need local shops or pubs just lovely walks and close to NT Dyrham Park and my family close by could visit. We loved the space and airiness of the barn, the beautiful wood floors and the Piano was an unexpected bonus. I think some of it was a bit tired. The oven controls were so worn they were impossible to see and the TV as others have said is tiny and very old but we hadn't come away to watch tv and made use of the computer to watch things as well. The largest bed was too hard for me, but I don't like hard beds and some do and the smaller bed was very comfy. The hot water was plentiful and the heating worked well though we did not need it. Some of the cooking equipment had been put away greasy and dirty which was a shame and the " games" cupboard had extremely out of date mags and games that could have been cleared away and replaced. Still that is a detail. The village is quiet and friendly with a beautiful old church, manor house and views across the valley. I would come again as felt very at home.

The perfect place for us. Quiet location yet easy access to Bristol, Bath, The Mendips and Cotoswolds. The house had everything we required and any queries very promptly answered by owner.
