Offering ground floor holiday accommodation throughout, this detached bungalow is an excellent choice for those wishing to explore the beautiful Norfolk coastline. Close to the beach and in the heart of the stunning coastline, but situated in a quiet residential area, you will find everything you need for a great holiday right on your doorstep. The salt marshes are simply stunning, and Brancaster’s sandy beach is beautiful year round and offers both a sunny retreat and bracing walks. There are also a series of nature reserves to explore, including the RSPB-managed Titchwell Marsh, whose reed beds and lagoons are home to nesting avocets, marsh harriers and bitterns.
Close by lies sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and golf, along with several award-winning places to eat after you have worked up an appetite. At Brancaster Staithe, boats run to Scolt Head Island, which is also a bird sanctuary and nature reserve. Along the coast, you can find further boat trips to see the seals. Wells-next-the-Sea, with its narrow gauge railways, picturesque quay and quaint mix of artisan and traditional seaside shops, is within easy reach, as is Hunstanton, with its amusements, small funfair and Sea Life Centre, all overlooking a beach that just seems to go on for miles. Culture vultures will be spoilt for choice, with lots of stately homes to visit, including Holkham Hall, a fine Palladian mansion overlooking Holkham’s beach, Houghton Hall and the Royal Sandringham Estate and museum. There are walks and cycle routes aplenty, or enjoy a glass of wine in the property’s summerhouse whilst planning the next day’s adventure. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼mile.
