This was our second visit and it says it all that we've booked to go again. A special little piece of heaven, so beautiful and peaceful with super walks and views. Very friendly locals. The ideal place to get away from it all. Beautiful cottage with every need catered for.

The views from the cottage were fantastic and we found the property spotlessly clean and well equipped - there were even additional items provided which were not listed on the inventory. Garlieston only has a garage, a small shop, a fish and chip van and the village pub as local amenities but we did not find this a problem as we could pick up necessities whilst out visiting the many attractions in this part of Scotland. The harbour proved a great success for our grandchildren who discovered crabbing and we’re sure there will be many water sports possible at a different time of the year. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable holiday in South West Scotland.
