Kitchen really well-equipped, spotlessly clean, simply stunning views and outlook, feels a little unfair to grade on amenities as not sure you really would go here if you wanted a Co-op round the corner! However, Munro's bar has great food and ambience - in walking distance, and places in Carbost to pick up supplies and coffee - all worked for us as family of 5! Again, bit of a first world problem I feel, but it does need roller blinds in living space - I would love to return in summer but the solar gain is very high so after a day on the mountains, it can feel that you are returning to an uncomfortably hot greenhouse - would be nice to be able to control this during the day when out without blocking out the views - therefore unfortunately will be booking elsewhere for summer, which is a shame! All in all, a fabulous stay!

Seascape is a magnificent place to stay on Skye. The views are just beautiful. The loacal area is also stunning. The front of the house is all glass so the living area and kitchen are very light and open. We had very bad weather during our stay in mid September but it was very nice to sit back in front of the fire and watch the storms move in over the coast. We still managed to get out and walk, there are plenty of good hikes close by. The Talisker distillary is also close by and the tour is really good but busy, we had to book in advance. The house itself is well equipped. Plenty of stuff in the kitchen to cook with. Showers are all very nice, lovely bath. There are two local pubs for eating out and a small but pretty well stocked shop for necessities. For our main shop we stopped off in Fort William on the way up at Marks and Spencer, they have all sorts of fabulous ready to go meals. We plan to return with our family as it sleeps 8.

Beds very uncomfortable. Compared to another cottage we rented last year (at half the price) it was disappointing. The kitchen of Seascape is small.

Fabulous holiday cottage. Beautiful location, clean, warm and comfortable. As a holiday cottage owner (and knowing what I leave for my guests), I would have liked to have seen more equipment left for the eight of us - more mugs & glasses, better kitchen equipment, bigger sink & drainer. We needed more tea towels and I had to search for a dish cloth, no washing up liquid or dishwasher tabs. The two small towels per person should have been complemented by hand towels in the bathrooms. We were caught out by the small hot water tank too! These extra provisions would have made our stay perfect.
