An inspiring collection of properties chosen for their character, luxury and heritage, all graded 4 star and above..

A luxurious retreat accommodating up to 4 guests in an enviable location and perfectly located within a 15-minute walk of two beaches.

With arguably the best views of Aberystwyth and Cardigan Bay, Seascape, one of a pair, is a luxurious holiday retreat in an enviable location, within a 15-minute walk of two beaches and just over half a mile from every amenity this lovely seaside town has to offer. The owners, who live next door, have created an elegant and comfortable holiday home in a peaceful spot. From here you can see the summit of Britain’s longest electric cliff railway, operating since 1896. The top of the hill has one of the largest Camera Obscuras in the world, a café and restaurant, and is only a 6-minute walk from Seascape. Aberystwyth is west Wales’ premier seaside resort and a historic town, offering varied shopping, bars and restaurants, art centres with theatre and cinema, pier and long promenade, castle ruins, the National Library of Wales (tours available) or take the Vale of Rheidol steam train to Devil’s Bridge and Waterfalls. Lovers of nature will appreciate the abundance of walking available from the property and if golf is your sport, Seascape overlooks Aberystwyth Golf Club.
Visit the stunning Ynyslas Nature Reserve and sand dunes with magnificent views across the Dovey Estuary, the Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre or the nearby centre, where you can watch majestic red kites feeding over the lake. Award-winning beaches and iconic harbours make the Ceredigion coast a beautiful place to visit, where dolphins and seals can often be seen. This region inspired Dylan Thomas to write some of his finest poetry. It’s framed by the Cambrian Mountains, the backbone of Wales, rich in wildlife, legends and intriguing landscapes. Whatever your preference, Seascape is the perfect holiday home in an unrivalled position, ideal for exploring this wonderful area or just relaxing and soaking up the views. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Beautiful location amazing views, nicely furnished which is a treat considering it’s dog friendly as most seem to think they can get away sub standard if they allow pets. Comfortable decent beds, tastefully decorated, bedrooms styled like a boutique hotel with lovely duvets and pillows! A warm welcome. walks direct from the door, sunsets to die for. All in all 10 stars the best rental we’ve had by a mile. Defiantly one I’d return to.

There is a marvelous view of Aberystwyth and the sea from the cottage, and you can watch the golfers on the other side of the valley. Seascape was very well equipped, and had a wide choice of books, DVDs and childrens games in case of inclement weather. The television had all the freeview channels, plus a good range of movies on demand which were available without further payment. The internet worked well, and there is a very strong mobile signal. The property is accessed by a narrow road which serves several other properties, but has limited passing places. Care must be taken, as in some places there are steep drops at the side of the road if you stray off the tarmac surface. I would say that a car is essential as you need to drive into Aberystwyth to get to the shops. There is a way you can walk from the cottage to the attractions at the top of the cliff railway, but it is not a direct route. We had a pleasant stay, our dog was well catered for, the owner was friendly, and had three old English sheepdogs himself. We have no hesitation in recommending this property

Seascape is in a beautiful location and the cottage has everything you want. The living/dinning and kitchen are all in one room. It's fine for a couple but maybe a bit small for 4 people. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Unfortunately, due to family illness we only stayed there for one night as we had to make a dash home on Saturday night.

We really enjoyed our holiday. Alan and Simone left us a lovely welcome pack including easter eggs and prosecco! The view is amazing and worth the visit alone. You feel out in the country but it's also about a 10 minute walk to the edge of town, so best of both worlds! Beds are very comfortable. Aberswyth is a lovely town and we enjoyed it there and visiting the surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit.
