Seagull’s Nest is a delightful property positioned in an enviable location in the old part of the fishing town of Whitby. It boasts stunning views from the first and top floor rooms over the marina and harbour, and provides an excellent standard of accommodation for families looking to explore this beautiful area. The modern décor and furnishings have been tastefully done and finished off to a high standard. There is shared access to the rear of the property onto a patio area with furniture which is perfect for relaxing on a summers evening.

The accommodation is over four floors with the kitchen on the lower ground floor accessed externally from steps leading up from the road. A staircase leads up from the kitchen to the living room on the ground floor which has an external door to the backyard. The street behind the house can be reached by a metal staircase in the yard leading to a door onto the street.

A five minute walk will bring you into the centre of Whitby where there is plenty to offer everyone with a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, the famous fish and chip shops and three miles of golden sandy beach. A holiday here is perfect for families or couples looking to relax and enjoy the ample restaurants with their awards for excellent cuisine. You could also take a trip out on one of the pleasure boats where you can enjoy a trip around the harbour and out to sea where you can view Whitby in all its glory. Whitby is surrounded by spectacular scenery of the North York Moors which you can enjoy by taking either the Esk valley train that takes you to Middlesbrough stopping at the pretty villages along the way, or the excellent North York Moor steam train that will take you from Whitby to the lovely market town of Pickering stopping off at Goathland otherwise known as ‘Heartbeat Country’. The lovely coastal resorts of Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay are all within close proximity and are well worth a visit.
