A comfortable, pet-friendly base for couples, friends or small families. This welcoming property combines modern comfort with an excellent location for exploring Northumberland’s spectacular coastline. On the ground floor, the newly renovated kitchen provides a stylish and practical space for preparing relaxed holiday meals. The first floor has two inviting bedrooms: one kingsize room with Smart TV and one twin room, also with a Smart TV, making it ideal for families or friends sharing. The family bathroom is also on this floor and includes a shower over the bath. On the top floor, the open-plan lounge and dining area makes the most of the setting, opening onto a balcony where guests can enjoy impeccable sea views across Seahouses. While there is no private garden for dogs, there are plenty of nearby walking routes, coastal paths and beach strolls to enjoy. Seahouses is one of Northumberland’s best-loved seaside villages and is especially famous as the main departure point for boat trips to the Farne Islands, one of the area’s biggest attractions. The islands are home to internationally important wildlife, with puffins, Arctic terns and grey seals all drawing visitors throughout the year, and the islands also have a fascinating history of hermits, monks, lighthouse keepers and shipwrecked sailors. A fun local fact to mention is that you can walk from Seahouses to Bamburgh along the beach, a scenic stretch of around 3 miles one way, with unforgettable views of Bamburgh Castle rising dramatically above the dunes. The village itself has a lively harbour atmosphere, with fish and chip shops, seafood restaurants, cafés and traditional pubs, making it easy to enjoy an evening meal or relaxed drink after a day out on the coast. Golfers are also well placed here, as Seahouses Golf Club is close with its striking clifftop setting and famously scenic back nine. A short drive away, Bamburgh Castle adds even more to discover. With boat trips, beautiful walks, local food, castles, beaches and wildlife all close by, Seabirds is a superb base for discovering this unforgettable corner of Northumberland.
