We had a lovely time at Sea Thrift. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4. The cottage is very clean, and we were welcomed with lovely scones, jam and clotted cream. The garden is great, and It’s a great base to see Cornwall. Just one down point is that there isn't a stand up shower, just a hand shower. But other than that the accommodation is perfect.

We were very disappointed with the cottage- it’s in dire need of a very good clean and maintenance of the entire cottage. Little bugs in the cutlery draw and dog poo in the garden. It was also cold and damp too.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Sea Thrift, and as a response to your review, I would like to make the following comments. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned personally and we pride ourselves on the levels of cleanliness. At the start of this season, the cottage has been completely painted and decorated inside and out. The grass is cut every weekend, just prior to guest’s arrival and there was no evidence of dog excrement anywhere in the garden. The garden is secure, and we do not allow pets in to the property. There is more than adequate heating throughout the property. Any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly by our handyman as soon as they are noticed and / or reported. The property was also inspected earlier this year by the area rep who, as always, was extremely complimentary about the property.
