I love this bungalow and the location, the view is wonderful. The property has a retro which I rather like, but it has all the comforts that you would expect. The lounge furniture is extremely comfortable and the bed is lovely. There is garden furniture (a table and chairs) but you will need to bring your own deckchairs. The back garden was beautiful when we visited, covered in pink sea thrift. The gate opens onto the coast path and steps down to the beach, there is also a ramp to the beach but it is very slippery when wet (after high tide). There are lots of things to see and do nearby but we were so happy with the bungalow, the garden and the beach that we didn't go out very much. Nearby Stalham has a supermarket and a very interesting little high street. Look out for Truly Local which is a not for profit company selling very tasty local produce and so much more. I also recommend Café Charlotte which is towards the top of the high street opposite the church. Mundesley has a nice beach and I like to eat at Jonet or the beach cafe which is down the slope overlooking the beach. I also recommend a trip to the North Norfolk Railway, the stations are very pretty and the countryside is beautiful; it is easiest to park at Holt Station. I have already booked for next year!

Sea Drift overlooks the sea, so if the weather is bad it's great to stay in and watch the sea. It's a short walk from shops, fish & chips and pub with food. It's ideal for fanning out to explore Norfolk. Some say it is dated and maybe the furniture is, but it is comfortable, clean and ideally located. No washing machine, but we don't go away to do the laundry. Because of area wifi is intermittent. so many places are dog friendly.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you very much for your review; I’m glad you had a good holiday at ‘Sea Drift’. We have considered modernising the cottage, but our friends and family, who have been staying here for many years, say they like its rather quirky character and the feeling of ‘going back in time’. So we have decided to maintain the retro style and hope guests will enjoy it being a bit different.

Decor is dated but the beds, sofa and chairs really comfy. Smashing location, we enjoyed the long weekend.
