Had a wonderful time. The Lodge was a perfect Home from Home. All comforts and facilities were there, even down to eggs in the fridge and a lovely bottle of Red Wine. We will definitely use this place again when we travel up to Scotland.

Lodge was lovely. Only thing we did not like was that dogs were not allowed in the bedroom. This was not stated in the original advert. We would never let our dog either on furniture or beds. We also felt that it would have been useful to have had hooks for wet coats etc. in the vestibule before entering main house. Would recommend this lodge with only reservation being the restrictions on dogs not mentioned in original advert.

This was our second stay at Scobach Lodge, this is a fantastic property that is very well kept, yes the outside needs a little tidying up, as it’s been a little battered by the elements. This property is in a lovely peaceful location and is superbly furnished. We struggled with the weather somewhat, but you can’t control the elements. If you are after a peaceful and restful break, away from it all, I would recommend Scobach Lodge whole heartedly.

The cottage was very clean but unfortunately, due to the location of the cottage, it is very dark and we had to have the lights on even on the sunniest of days. It was disappointing to find that upon arrival at 1600, after driving from South Yorkshire, there was no milk or tea, coffee, sugar (other than what appeared to be 'left overs' from other occupants), so instead of sitting down and relaxing with a cup of tea we had to go out and familiarise ourselves with the area and find a supermarket.
