Lodge Cottage was perfect for our long weekend. Very clean and comfortable with fabulous views. Very peaceful and quiet and with lovely walks from the door. Have stayed before at Castle View and have booked Tweedmouth for Christmas. Altogether a lovely place and very well run by Jane who is very helpful and welcoming.

The double bed was very uncomfortable. There was a very bad smell in the kitchen, we came to the conclusion it was the tiled floor. Lots of cobwebs and uncomfortable sofa, Feel the cottage would benefit from another sofa - as there are only 2 upright chairs available to sit on.

The holiday was booked for my Mothers 70th, My mum sister and myself and daughter. We loved the location. The Lodge needed a little maintenance outside. The comfort of Lodge we found our selves retiring early due to the arm chair in the lounge been not the most comfortable. We all did not sit on the sofa together as would not be able to fit us all on. I am not sure If in the literature it stipulated that it slept four and my mum needed a room of her own . So sleeping arrangements a problem .
