Lovely cottage to explore bodmin moor, which unfortunately storm Ciara put a stop too, but perfect place to watch from the beautiful pitched window. As the weather continued to get worse we used the 3 fields literally over the garden wall to walk are 2 dogs they loved it. Open plan living at it's best, lovely farmhouse kitchen with everything you need, a log burner to cosy up to in the evenings. Old inn pub 10 min walk lovely food and friendly locals. Enjoyed are cream tea that Kate kindly left on are arrival. Kate was very attentive and made sure we had candles when the power went out after the thunderstorm! We certainly had an adventure on bodmin moor, couldn't of had a nicer cottage to be stuck in a storm in.

A wonderful relaxing week at the Roost, the perfect place to get away from the rigours of the modern world, and just watch the clouds drift by through that amazing window, and the wifi is good if you want to reconnect too. It is well equipped with everything you need.
