Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a gorgeous location. The local community are really friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Special mention has to go to the Drift café, on the outskirts of Cresswell and the Widdrington Inn. Fantastic food, drink and service. Would we return to Sandsedge? Of course we would!

The location was beautiful but on arriving we had to clean out both the fridge and freezer, the oven I could only wipe out but it had not been cleaned for months and part of the hop was not working. Both the the sofas need replacing as the cushions were unable to support comfortably and we needed to try and collect small cushions from around the the property to try and buster the seats. This property needs a a complete update

A lovely break very close to the beach at Druridge Bay. We have two dogs and they were welcomed at the cottage. There is no fenced in area for the dogs but lots of grass space to take them onto first thing in the morning and last thing at night. You don't really need a fenced in area as the beach is so close! Cottage has everything you need for a lovely peaceful stay. Just don't forget your towels as they are not provided - something we didn't do so had to quickly buy! The owners leaves you a nice bottle of wine to welcome and lots of instructions so you don't ever need to bother them and vice versa. Definitely recommend the cottage especially if you have dogs, it is central to a lot of what Northumberland has to offer!
