Great holiday home with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. So convenient for the local shops, pubs, harbour etc. We would certainly return to Sandpipers.

We LOVE sandpipers and Padstow. It makes the perfect holiday. But the cottage needs some serious TLC to mend things broken, paint over damp etc. We’ve booked for the last 5 years in a row but this will be our first year we don’t go back as the cottage is just getting too shabby now. We can’t wait to go back once we hear it’s had a bit of maintenance done.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry that Sandpipers didn’t meet the standard you should expect and have experienced in the past. We have done a significant amount of maintenance between your stay and your review. Sandpipers has been solid since Valentines this year; it’s taken quite a battering. Given the busyness, we’ll pay more attention to the detail through the year, not just at annual refurbishment.

Lovely Cottage, clean, well equipped and spacious. Small outside area, very close to the centre of Padstow so quite noisy and very difficult to park outside, even to unload. Overall thoroughly recommend.

On arrival at the property, first impressions were excellent with a lovely welcome hamper, clean and spacious house, large kitchen. Well situated close to centre of Padstow and its harbour, a short downhill 5minute walk. However, there were some bad points. House does need some tlc, signs of damp on lounge wall, broken shower head in the ensuite, water marks on kitchen ceiling. Garden needs attention, large brambles/nettles growing from flower beds.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry maintenance fell below the standard guests should expect this summer. We now have a new maintenance team in Padstow and we are encouraging guests to point out even the smallest problems to us during their stay so they don’t build up to become a problem.
