This is an upside down house which gives a good view over the bay from the lounge area. There are plenty of take aways and eating places within walking distance. There are plenty of places to visit on Anglesey within less than an hours drive. The cottage is dog friendly and there is a designated parking place for two cars out of sight of the main road.

Great location and the view from the cottage is superb, even when it’s pouring with rain.

Second time staying at Sailfish and once again we were thrilled with it. The location is absolutely stunning looking out over Benllech Beach and Red Wharf Bay. Having two weeks of glorious sunshine definitely helped but the accommodation is fantastic. My only slight quibble may be a slight lack of equipment in the kitchen - some larger bowls for salad and and bigger dishes for the oven would've been useful and we had to buy a grater which we have now left there. But I promise this is only a small complaint in an otherwise beautiful house in a stunning location. There's lots of small shops near by and easy access to other parts of the island and the mainland (the base of Snowdon is only 30 minutes away).

We have stayed here several times before and always enjoy it. The beds have been renewed and the view from the lounge over the bay is spectacular. The providing of milk and Welsh cakes on arrival is a nice touch. The only criticism this time was that there was no toilet paper on arrival otherwise the overall score would have been 10

The thing which stands out for this property is the close proximity to the beach. Downstairs felt damp due to the internal bathroom and the cleaning wasn't great (someone's top left in the bedroom!), areas of property were tired and we had to clean the windows to see the amazing view, but it was well equipped and because we could walk to the beach within minutes it was worth the money paid for our short break.

Sailfish was ideal for my husband and I, our 3 and 1 year old grandsons. The cottage is child friendly and handy for local amenities. Unfortunately for us, the weather was really bad and we had to leave a day early, but would definitely like to return with them.
