Been coming here for many years now before and with the kids, love this place perfect location for walks and quiet seclusion! Excellent garden for the kids and dog, beds comfy, couch and chairs take a bit of getting used to but fit perfectly with the style of the little cottage. If you're a fan of large bowls bring a couple as only smaller ones available, limited pots and pans but perfectly useable we do take a couple of our own as we know what to expect now. Excellent walks from the doorstep, plenty of places to go and explore, we'll definitely be back again.

Although the location was beautiful the house smelt very musky and was rather unpleasant to spend much time in. We were of course out a lot of the time, it’s in dire need of updating. The furniture was very uncomfortable .That being said the kitchen (no tin opener) was clean as was the bathroom.

The location of the cottage is perfect with surrounding beautiful scenery. It was peaceful and quiet, and good to see wildlife, and to visit areas of the Peak District. The cottage needed updating. We could not access the so called bike shed. The price should include all electric amenities without paying into a meter. A good update would do this cottage well for future business.
