A very nice, snug little cottage close to the town and not far from the beach. We stopped here during the winter and found it very warm and welcoming with a woodburner for heat. The owner is exceptionally obliging and helpful and only next door. Our dog enjoyed her stay here as well.

Quaint cottage, with everything you need for a self catering stay.

The cottage was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome (the wine and chocolates were a nice touch). Unfortunately the cottage needs a deep clean and a bit of a touch up/refresh and some new sheets etc, if the cottage had felt clean our scores would have been much higher.

This cottage was beatiful, but a bit narrow for 3 persons and a dog. The surrounding area is very quiet, Hythe is a nice city with a long seaside promenade. The owners was very kind and helpful. Overall, we spent a pleasant weekend here.

Not really suitable for two adults using the two separate bedrooms. Made very welcome by owners and very well positioned within the town.

A week of fantastic weather in a great location to visit places we have wanted to see for a long time. Easy parking and walking distance to the town's amenities. A cosy little old cottage perched up above the pretty town with views out to the sea in the distance.

Unfortunately this accomodation is just average. On the Down side: 1) most serious- the second bedroom is quite unusable for adults because of the wonky bed-just a mattress loosely thrown onto a small sort of sofa. This cottage can sleep definitely only 2 people. 2) The shower in the bathroom is also faulty. The mixer tap is obviously not working properly. Either you get burned by quite hot water or it is freezing cold. 3)The surroundings (esp. the back) of Rose Cottage are in desperate need of a big tidy up. It is not a pleasure sitting outside and looking at a row of rubbish bins and boxes with junk of allkind. On the UP-side Nice working TV set with freeview and and a dishwasher, also in gwo. This place is definetely NOT value for money

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are currently replacing the upstairs single bed, but I would like to add that you didn't use the upstairs room. I have checked the mixer tap in the bathroom, it is not faulty. You have to get the setting correct, but this shouldn’t be too difficult as other guests have not complained. I'm afraid green dustbins are a part of British road furniture, rubbish has to be put somewhere.
