Overlooking one of Broadstairs’ sandy beaches, this is the perfect location to enjoy a family holiday by the seaside.

Opposite the beach with sea views

A perfect holiday home for groups of friends or an extended family, to enjoy the ambience of a village style seaside resort in either summer or winter. Broadstairs, named after the “broad stairs” carved in the cliff that led from the sands to the 12th century shrine of St Mary, boasts seven beaches, three of which are holders of the coveted 2010 Blue flag Award presented to Europe’s top coastal destinations. Ron’s House overlooks one such award winning beach - the quiet sandy “Stone Bay” offering 200 metres of golden sand, rock pools and a promenade. Broadstairs popular Folk Week Festival runs annually in August, and if you’re visiting Broadstairs with teenagers then Revolution Skate Park which operates out of Viking Bay is well worth a visit. There are also climbing and BMX sessions available. For walkers and cyclists alike, join the Thanet Coast Viking Trail – part of route 15 of the National Cycle Trail, and no trip to Broadstairs would be complete without a visit to a seafront ice cream parlour and watching the dazzling fireworks on a summer evening. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/4 mile.

House was in a great position and was very well equipped. Nice to have a garden. Only criticism was that the double beds were mostly 4'6" and not particularly comfortable. Good to have a local shop and the dog enjoyed the Beach.

This property is spacious and in an excellent location. There were ten of us and a small dog and we had plenty of space. It is an old house and is being refurbished, but delightful and a little quirky .

Lovely helpful hosts. Location and the house itself was ideal for my mother in law's birthday weekend with family.

We had a fantastic week staying at Ron's house. It is in a wonderful location, across the road from the beach and a short walk to great restaurants, pubs and local shops. The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of space for 9 people and a dog. It has recently benefited from a bathroom being installed on the 3rd floor. It is ideal for families or friends. It is well equipped and we especially enjoyed the games room with table tennis and table football. We would love to come back.

Ron's House is ideally situated across the road from Stone Beach. I've been coming with my family, three generations of us, for a few years now. We all love it! The owners continually improve it and tell us that they have further plans. It's a comfortable place with room for all ages to play or relax in their own space, but also come together. Having a garden and space to park is a bonus. We cook in the well-equipped kitchen and eat round the enormous dining table. Our local contact is friendly and efficient, responding quickly to our requests. It's only a short walk to all the amenities we need. There are loads of restaurants, cafes, pubs and places to get day-to day essentials and its only a short drive to bigger shops if you feel the need. A great location for a group get-together of any age

Another very enjoyable week. Good that there is now a top floor shower room / basin/ loo etc. This house has proved ideal for 6 adults and three young children (1-3) despite suboptimal weather we had a great time. Garden an asset too.
