Very pleasant cottage. Very comfortable. Just the right size for two people and two medium dogs. Garden is secure and has ample space with seating for pleasant evenings. Situated very close to a lot of the major beaches and the Donkey Sanctuary. The town of Newton Poppleford is also very pleasant. Had a very warm welcome from the owner and a lovely gift of wine, chocolates, flowers and the dogs had a goody bag. Plenty of information provided for the area and dog walks.

Lovely little hideaway for the two of us. We did not think it would be suitable for three people as the third person would need to go through the main bedroom to the bathroom. Might be better advertised as an ideal adult only couples location. Other than that it is great. Lovely location for visiting the Jurassic coast and great beaches. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Welcome gift of chocolates, wine and flowers is a nice surprise. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden.

The bungalow was smaller than we expected, and various kitchen equipment that is usually supplied wasn’t. There is hardly room to get into the bathroom.

Great holiday accommodation for 1 or 2 people but I would think a very tight squeeze for 3 with one sleeping on the sofa in the lounge come kitchen. It is a beautifully converted shed come garage the size of a static caravan, perfectly adequate for my needs and situated within easy reach of Sidmouth and all local beauty spots.

This was our 4th stay at Robins nest so what more do I need to say. The cottage was spotless as always. The owners Jane and Andrew are available if needed and really helpful. It’s not too far from all the fabulous beaches, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and our favourites, Brixham, Dawlish and Lyme Regis. The enclosed garden is the selling point for me. It enables our dogs to have the freedom to run and play with us knowing they are safe. We won’t hesitate to book again

We spent a week at Robins Nest, which was well placed for visiting several towns, gardens and attractions. The property owners were friendly and the cottage was very clean with garden space for our dog. We would have preferred a washing machine in place of a dishwasher for the two of us.

This is a small cottage but is perfectly formed. For 2 of us and a small dog it was perfect. You would have to like the person you are staying with as it is cosy!! Jane was lovely and they were very helpful. Great location for us visiting friends. Good walks for the dog too. Would easily go back as it was a very pleasant holiday highly recommended.
