The cottage is lovely and has a homely feel, lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep and a stones throw away from snowdonia for more great hikes, not far from betwys coed village which is one my favourite places plenty of lovely places to eat. I had my two dogs with me who enjoyed the secure patio area while we had the fire pit on and bbqs. The main house is next door and owners where friendly and helpful they also sell firewood, kindle and marshmallows! There is a lovely quiet campsite near the cottage but you wouldn’t know it was there was never any noise or bother. The cottage has near enough everything you need for your stay we stayed 7 days and didn’t need anything, even has a washing machine which was great to be able to not go home with loads of dirty clothes! There was a fair few spiders inside but it is the countryside so can be expected. The water pressure isn’t as bad as people make out I thought it was fine for a shower it isn’t a powershower but it has a fairly decent pressure. I would book again as was lovely peaceful and relaxing
