Perfect for a short break, warm, comfortable and cosy but not cramped. The Red Lion pub does great food with excellent service.

We were told that there was a shop nearby but it has now closed so we had to travel 5mile to one.Everything about the cottage was excellent but my wife would have liked some scales and another pirex dish. I can highly recommend the cottage but the only local 'amenity' was lots of walks.

This was a great place to stay very cosy, nice garden for the dogs to run in & right next door to the lovely old Red Lion Pub, the food was excellent we ordered our meals & they were delivered to the door. The staff are really friendly & helpful we had a lovely break there. It's close to Shrewsbury, lots of NT places to visit & if you have dogs go up the road North to Ellesmere, beautiful walks in the park round the mere, dog friendly & lots of squirrels to chase ! Would definitely stay there again.

Although the cottage was clean and suited us well. We felt some of the kitchen utensils/pans need replacing. Also need additions cuttlery as only 4 knives, folks etc. Would recommend to others and definitely return.
