Totally fell in love with this cottage when we walked in the door ! The view !! Wow! Perfect for two adults or maybe a couple with children ? Just my husband and myself and it was perfect for us. I couldn’t fault this lovely cottage. Everything supplied, hand wash, toilet rolls, beautiful crisp clean white bed linen, ( thank you for the welcome goodies, wine, biscuits, crisps and a plentiful supply of tea and coffee !) all the little ‘extras’ the binoculars, the array of glasses to choose from ( my husbands was so pleased, he loves a selection of glasses for different beverages!) even a walking stick, clothes airer, dishwasher and full sized under the counter fridge and freezer and washing machine I mean this cottage has everything ! Will definitely go back, so much to see locally, and I just loved everything about this beautiful cottage and the view !! Laying in bed watching clouds over the mountains and the cattle wandering around - priceless! The CO OP in Wooler is really well stocked, only about a 10 minute drive away) (note, the property next door is being renovated - we went out most days so it didn’t affect us thankfully !! ) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gorgeous cottage - I’ve never felt so relaxed , didn’t want to go home !!!

Lovely cottage in semi rural location with great views. Nice and much appreciated welcome pack. Ample space downstairs for four adults and our large dog. Well equipped kitchen which had everything that we needed. Two good sized bedrooms both with great views. Both bathrooms were clean with towels supplied although we had wrongly been advised to take our own when we enquired. The cottage was clean throughout, yes there are spiders but you get them in every house. Enclosed gardens to the front and back which was great for our dog. Ample parking for 2 cars. Very quiet and peaceful location and a great base to explore all that Northumbria has to offer. Would happily stay here again or recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
