Nestled in a small complex within the South Cornwall countryside, Rabbits Warren is perfect for a relaxing break, perhaps lazing by the shared heated outdoor pool or maybe venturing further afield to explore this magnificent part of the county.
So where could you visit? Start at the beautiful Talland Bay Beach, flanked by hills and consisting of two beaches which at low tide reveal small coves and tidal pools for swimming. The picturesque fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 minutes’ drive away with its charming narrow streets, boutique shops and beaches along with pubs and restaurants. A short trip along the coast, discover Polperro, an ancient port with long past links to smuggling and wrecking, quaint little cottages, and beautiful harbour. The beaches along this stretch of coastline are many; stretches of golden sand interspersed with wonderful countryside, coastal paths, and trails, including The Rame Head Heritage Coast.
Stunning Fowey, with its Georgian and medieval architecture sitting side by side is a popular haven for sailing enthusiasts, sitting aside its own estuary, while inland, the market town of Liskeard offers many amenities, including shops and banks, pubs, and bars. You will feel very welcome at Granite Henge, the name a clue to the impressive stone structures set within the grounds. A small complex, there is a shared outdoor, heated pool, open from May to September and with loungers and seating, ideal for when you return from a day of adventures or just to unwind.
Once inside your holiday home, all on one level, there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen space, thoughtfully decorated throughout to evoke a warm inviting feel. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a light breakfast or hearty meal and has a bright and airy feel. The two bedrooms, one with double bed and the second a twin, are complimented by a family bathroom, with a cubicle shower. Outside, just a few metres away, a lovely, shared patio area, complete with chairs and tables is ideal for morning coffee. There is another slightly smaller area with similar seating available for guests too. Beach 2 miles.

Rabbits Warren was a great place to stay and a handy location for exploring Cornwall. On arrival we had a welcome pack which had all the essentials we needed, which unfortunately, we had already brought to Rabbits Warren as we was not told what the welcome pack contained. Perhaps that should be highlighted when booking? The grounds were well kept by a gardener. Rabbits Warren is a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Looe, which is about 3 miles down the road and around the corner to Polperro. The place was lovely and clean on arrival, and we was kept in touch of directions and how to enter the premises. The grounds had a swimming pool, which was stated as heated. It was not, which was a shame. Note, the driveway and car park to Rabbits Warren is very dark at night. There did not seem to be any solar or dim lights, but there is a wind up torch provided if need be. Overall, Rabbits Warren is a lovely little cottage and was great value for all of us. We did not want to leave. I’m sure we will be back, as we have a lot more exploring to do! 
