Fantastic family holiday. Weather was great and we enjoyed the garden playing badminton and table tennis and crochet. Local pubs serve really good food.

A great homely farmhouse set in a beautiful garden. The children and dog spent hours playing outside in the wonderful sunshine in the amazing sunshine. From playing hide and seek, to being able to ride their bikes in a safe setting. It was a perfect location for our family. The farmhouse itself is well equipped and has plenty of room to relax and enjoy.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at purcombe farmhouse as a party of 9! The outdoor space with garden, outdoor eating area, hot tub and fire pit were fantastic and we made the best use of them in the lovely weather! The farmhouse was very well equipped and the owners helpful and near to hand, but giving us plenty of privacy during our stay!

We all enjoyed staying at Purcombe Farmhouse. Very well equipped property. Beautifully kept garden. It was hired for a family birthday. The shower on the first floor was a bit hit and miss and difficult to kept a good temperature as either too hot or too cold. For a large party (which were - 12) another good shower would be essential other than the one in the top floor ensuite.

We thought that Purcombe Farmhouse would be good, but we were blown away by it. The house is large as are all the main rooms and bedrooms. Every room well equipped and ample storage space. The owners seem to have thought of everything and we took a lot of gear we didn’t need. The kitchen literally has all equipment needed, much more than the occupants would need. This is not a show house it is a very comfortable, traditionally furnished farmhouse in a very quiet location with a beautiful garden and fantastic views. We were very lucky with the weather but it would be great even if the weather was not so good. Will definitely be visiting again

We had an amazing time, shame about the weather but it didn't spoil it for us. The farmhouse was filled with lovely things to do which kept the children happy. When we arrived to the smell of bread being cooked we knew we were going to have a great time. We will be back when the weather is better.

Very nice cottage, excellent for our all male group of 9. Two lounges a real plus, good size kitchen and dining room and the hot tub a real hit . All the rooms clean and tidy when we arrived and the bread, tea and biscuits a good touch. Only downside is that it is a long walk to the local pub and the dodgy drive up from the main road to the cottage.
