Stayed at Puffins over Christmas 2018. Everything we could’ve needed was available. The location is great for a short stroll to Port Issac where there are some great places to eat and drink. Our dogs loved the large fenced garden. The welcome gift for us and the dogs were a sign of a very well organised holiday home. We loved it so much we have already booked for Christmas 2019 !!

The cottage was a lot smaller than the photographs portrayed, and the bedroom smelt musty. It was very clean and had everything we needed but for the amount we paid...dissapointed.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback and we appreciate your comments on the cleanliness of our property. We have reviewed the photographs which are supplied by the Agent and believe they show a true representation of this lovely one-bedroom bungalow. Whilst it is compact, there is a large enclosed garden and off road parking for 2 cars. The property is situated in one of the most visited Cornish villages and with it's facilities is priced accordingly by the Agent. One main reason for choosing our Agent was because we thought their pricing was fair. We left a note for you about the bath panel having to be replaced the morning of your arrival and that there was a slight "wiff" from the silicone, I wonder if you saw that note? We have not noticed any other unpleasant smells, but will certainly continue to be vigilant. I'm sorry that unlike our many other guests that have loved the property and location you didn't on this occasion.

We found Puffins clean reasonably well equipped although tp o make it perfect a king size bed was needed for comfort also a outdoor table and chairs with parasol for outdoor eating is required as there is onl small patio furniture with a low small table outside als 2 sun loungers would have been good and finally there was a problem from time to time with the television reception maybe a signal booster is required if those issues were attended to I would book again

Fab little base for exploring Cornwall. Very grateful for wifi as my Vodafone mobile had no signal. Bungalow was very clean and the garden was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Every little detail has been thought of and I cannot think of anything that was missing. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and very quiet and peaceful.
